Colleen is a Licensed Family Paws Parent Educator. She can help you and your family (or family-to-be!) learn how to reduce stress and anxiety, handle the new changes in your home and create a safe environment for adults, children and dogs.

Baby on the Way

Preparing for the arrival of a new baby can be stressful for everyone, including the pets in your home. Baby on the Way sessions are designed to help you create a safe environment for everyone and set your dog up for success.

Families with Kids

Children and dogs can go great together, but there can be challenges, especially with babies and toddlers. Families with Kids private sessions are designed to help you navigate living harmoniously with your dog(s) and children and providing a safe environment for everyone. These sessions can also cover areas of concern such as your dog growling or biting a child, or how to add a new dog to the family.

Dogs & Storks/Dogs & Toddlers

We have two workshop options. A minimum of four people is required to hold a workshop. Workshops are for families expecting a baby or dealing with a toddler and dog.

Private Sessions - Baby on the Way

An initial 90 minute consultation is required before booking a training session package. The consult is $175 and allows us to get to know more about each other, answer questions of immediate concern and develop a training and management plan to be worked on in future sessions.

You can book a package once you have completed an Initial Consultation appointment.

Packages include one-on-one coaching, unlimited email correspondence during the session package timeline, a personalized training plan with homework and written summaries of our sessions.

Fees for packages are:

$580 for a 4-session package
$840 for a 6-session package

Virtual sessions are:

$440 for a 4-session package
$600 for a 6-session package

Workshops

Dogs & Storks

This workshop is designed for families with dogs who are expecting a baby. Our goal is to help you support your dog as you prepare your new arrival.

This two-hour workshop provides practical information and resources you can implement right away. It also includes handouts and a q-and-a session. Common questions answered including how to prepare for the new baby to keep the dog comfortable, how to handle the dog when first bringing home baby and more.

Workshops are $25 per person.

This workshop is designed for families with dogs who have a toddler who is just starting to crawl and walk. Our goal is to help support you and your dog to meet the challenge of a moving, inquisitive toddler in the home.
